About
Built on an abandoned gas station lot in the Shaw neighborhood, Fiddlehead Fern Café is a woman-owned, sustainability-driven cafe that opened in 2017. Owner Darcy Heine introduced St. Louis's first under-counter La Marzocco Modbar espresso system, and the shop uses PERC Coffee beans sourced from Latin America and Africa. The biophilic interior — lined with indoor plants, reclaimed barn-wood tables, and a golden-framed heirloom mirror — pairs with an all-vegetarian menu of avocado toasts, botanical-infused lattes, and cold-pressed juices.
